October 2015 - Wellington R1465

There are quite a few WWII crash sites dotted around the Brecon Beacons, but due to it's accessibility and central location the remains of this Wellington bomber is probably the most frequented. I have visited it on many occasions (along with many of the other sites) but have yet to find a way to photograph it in a way that does justice to the 6 men that died when it impacted with the ground near Waun Rydd in 1942. It is something that I keep returning to and it may form part of a project for 2016.
