November 2016 - It Never Rains But it Pours

One of the images I had Commended in this year's Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards and probably my favourite of the two selected. Taken as part of Maen Llia 2015, my year-long study of the standing stone close to my house. This image is probably one of the most sucessful in-camera multiple exposures I have ever made and was created to reinforce the weather I was experiencing at the stone on that day.

This image appears in volume 10 of the Awards book published by the AA.

For an overview of all the images taken throughout the year as part of the project see also the Maen Llia 2015 video on Vimeo.

Camera Settings: Canon 6D : ISO50 : Aperture f5.6 : Shutter Speed 1/400s : 34mm focal length (settings only recorded for one exposure)
