June 2016 - Ghosts of the Gunpowder Trail

I am always amazed at the endless abstract patterns that nature can produce and the "river foam" that occurs at various time of year has fascinated me for some time now. This image is just one of a set that I captured near the old gunpowder works in Pontneddfechan. The huge variety of patterns that formed and disintegrated while I was there can be seen in this acompanying video. This is something that I hope to explore in more detail as part of a future project.
